La Société Générale ordered Upian to create an Android Tablet Application to celebrate the 150 years of Société Générale History. Far more than a mere exhibit, it’s a fun and customized digital journey through 50 surprising and never before seen objects that have marked the history of the Société Générale from 1864 up to the present.
How do you develop an experience that doesn’t position users in front of objects, but creates a situation in which they “engage” with them?
First, you start with a custom element that establishes a relationship with PERSONAL history, which conditions how they relate to the story. Therefore, we invite the users/viewers to start their visit at the very beginning of their own history: by entering their year of birth. This is the entry point into the program, this personal question that creates a bond between the program and the visitor: the Société Générale is 150 years old; what about you, how old are you?
